Guitar

Hi people. Here is an open question. Since I got my guitars back I have been considering playing guitar live again. Who thinks I should pick it up again?
I play guitar all day every day as I am always working on new songs. Let me know if you think I should hit it live. The king is dead.
God save the king.

Guitar Playing

Yes you should! I would love for you to do a Blues Album with your guitar. The one at the end of Watch Out on Scream is a perfect example. I can feel your soul coming through that. You have some great ones with Audioslave as well. I just want to listen to what you would have to say through the blues. Thank you for what you give of yourself. It's powerful.

Yes, yes, yes

I have followed you since Soundgarden. WHFS radio in D.C turned me on to you. I have loved watching you diverge and change and experiment. This latest album is magnificent and you are right...it has to be listened to a a whole. It is a real album that flows from one song to the next. I love you and I am a very big fan of Timberland, which is a lot to say from a hard core R&Roll person. This album is simply amazing. What was rolling Stone thinking? They do not get it! You on MTV unplugged is divine--it made me cry--so you see you have to because it gives people like me who have lost so much in this recession some hope and a great deal of pleasure. Yes you must pick up your guitars--or I will cry and you don't want that--I know. I believe in you and what you are doing 100 percent. Ground zero is so amazing Your voice and playing makes my heart and soul soar

Guitar

You have great talents, whether playing lead or rhythm while you sing gives the songs more essence. Scream is okay, the more i hear the album the more i understand the project. I don't know how you would play some of those songs live in concert with all the sound effects but I'm sure you manage well. Good luck and don't burn out, smoke some and love some.....................

You are amazing. Guitar, voice, presence, well, you get the picture. You have true talent, I wish you much luck with the new album, but being a 15 plus year fan of yours, would LOVE to see you pick up that guitar...XO

C, saw you in Boston, I was lucky enough to see you up close. You were incredible & your band is tight!!!! You rocked the "House of Blues". U are so awesome on Guitar, & YES you should definately play, (forever). You are an amazing artist, I am your age & have been listening to you since "Temple of the Dogs", you just keep getting better & better!! SCREAM IS INCREDIBLE. I listen to it all the time, listened last night through dinner & had a party later & played the new tunes for my friends. Everyone loved it. What an awsome album. Please keep making music for us. My daughter is 5 & singing your album... I cant stop listening to it, that's how you know you have a GREAT ALBUM. Liz / Boston

You rock on guitar

Chris your guitar playing is great. I think you should do singing and guitar both. I have been inspired by your guitar playing. I think your guitar work is not noticed as much because your vocals are so amazing. But you did some amazing guitar in your music.

Guitar

Chris, Yes please pick up the guitar some more in concert. Saw you last night in Ann Arbor, 8th row dead center, just an unbelievably incredible show. You guys were amazing. The hard curfew at 11pm is something we Ann Arbor people will need to talk to the Michigan Theater about. Would have stayed as long as you played. Excellent "Dances with Wolves" reference with the 'king is dead, god save the king' reference at end of your post. Ha! Come back soon, -Doug
