Chris Cornell performs a bluesy live full-band version of the Michael Jackson song "Billie Jean"
You're amazing Mr. Chris Cornell... simply A-MAZ-ING! Your voice is one of my all-time favorites (and I have a *lot* of favorites)!!
Your version of "Billie Jean" (particularly the live "MSN In Concert" version in the video) is light years above any other!
Have a great rest of the day!
Kymberly Dawn:o)~
can't wait to see you on Halloween at the Fillmore!!!
Been waiting all my adult life! And this is why.
An awesome, passionate rendition! Absolutely 'blown away' by the unplugged version at songza

WOW!!! What a fantastic version of "Billie Jean". This is without a doubt superior to Michael Jackson's version. Joe Cocker did the same with the Beatles tune "With A Little Help From My Friends". Way to go Chris Cornell, who is one of the truly great Rock and Roll singers of all time!!!
Chris Cornell did 100 times better at singing that song then Michael jackson. MJ wishes he can do that.

Billie Jean?
Tonight's conversation with my husband upon perusing the Chris Cornell website: ME: " Billie Jean? Boo, he doesn't mean "remake" of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," right?" HUSBAND: "Yeah, I he did do a remake." ME: "Get the f*** out! Is it good?" HUSBAND: "Yeah, it's pretty good!" ME: (**mumbling to self**) "Cornell's lost his frickin' mind. You gotta be kiddin' me with this shit. What the f***k's he gonna do next, moonwalk and wear one sequin glove? Come on ...." (****Clicks on "Billie Jean" video and watches****) ME: "WTF . . . No f***ing way . . ." ******************************************** A very daring endeavor with a superb outcome; one that now takes a place next to my two other favorite remakes of all time, "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (remake) by Tori Amos and "Wonderwall" (remake) by Ryan Adams. . . "Billie Jean" by . . . Chris Cornell. (Hard to get used to associating the Cornell name with Michael Jackson, but, hey . . . it fucking works for me! Thanks!
