Chris Cornell kicks back in the studio with producer Timbaland in an exclusive Artist on Artist video interview. Two of music’s biggest names, the pair chat about their first meeting, discuss rock and hip-hop’s groovy origins and Chris shares that their collaboration together, Scream is ‘the most album-oriented album’ he’s ever done!
OUTSTANDING WORK! CONGRATS TO ALL INVOLVED. MUCHO AMORE & CONTINUE TO OUTSHINE!
OK...I dig CC's voice. Haven't followed with passion the ins and outs of the career, but dug the near operatic qualities when I ran into his work. I therefore tuned in with interest to the new video - which made no freaking sense and did not advance any ball in any game. I thought it was sloppy. Worse yet, CC has "relearned" to sing like Terrence Trent D'Arby. Jeez, Timbaland, thanks for gilding a lilly.
There's only one song that I liked from the new stuff.. "Two drink minimum" that was the real CC.. I dont like the new sounds.. Timbaland sucks! The interview from Myspace was crazy.. so he doesnt like Audioslave.. and CC is an OG now.. whatever CC has been around twice as long as Timbaland...
ok.. so here is some crazy stuff... sorry CC.. not trying to diss you but.. just go back to the real deal stuff..

I think the real fans would agree.
I fail to see why you folks are making such a big deal of that. So he didn't like Audioslave as a band, big deal. He didn't say he didn't like Cornell as a singer or as a person, did he? Not every single Scott Weiland fan liked Velver Revolver, right? Dude was just being honest. You should be happy to see Chris collaborate with someone he can have that type of honest interaction with. The 2 are obviously friends and admirers of each other's work, so, if what Tim said isn't a problem for Chris, then, it shouldn't be for anyone registered at this board.
chris cornell rocks and always will he is so talented he can do any music. timbaland shouldnt of put adioslave down though. i didnt even know who timbaland was till i saw him in the hollywood show with cornell.keep doin what your doin cornell.
Timbaland not liking audioslave wow......odd
Like Soundgarden music was great but Audioslave was it man best ever
But I've heard other ppl say that about Audioslave its their opinion i guess
I recently saw Chris Cornell in concert. He had an amazing show in Denver with Timbaland, I read somewhere that "he has been playing small intimate venues. He had the courage and balls to play a whole show of new material. Since the album is a continual sound he played 60 minutes from beginning to end of his album with no old material. During the show the kids started to mosh, which goes against what all the critics are saying, the critics are trying to corner this album as only R&B, when it actually has elements of all music and obviously his fans have responded. When the house lights went up and the show was over, there were about a 100 fans who would not leave and kept chanting for more, Chris came back out and played his classic “reach down”"
Chris Cornell is a talent without peer or equal. He can do no wrong. Can't believe Timbaland said he didn't like Audioslave. That kind of left me speechless.
I don't know...any musician who can't see anything good in this is a f*cking idiot if you ask me...

Infact I can't believe Chris restrained himself when timbalan said 'ye know, i didnt like audioslave, I only really knew Black Hole Sun' ... I would have ended negotiations there.
each to their own n aww that!
why fuck up a good thing
i love chris and i loved audioslave. i think timber got him brainwashed or something. too many drugs apparently..this new stuff aint bad but the background all the same...im bummed. hopefully chris come back down to earth. lose that timba fuck and get back to himself.
