Chris Cornell guests on new album by Gabin
Chris Cornell guests with Italian nu-jazz band Gabin on "Lies", a song from their brand new album Third And Double.
Third and Double is a "mixture of new jazz, soul, electronic and funk" and Gabin describe "Lies" as "one of the most personal and intimate songs on the record".
Various extracts from every track on the album are streaming at the official Gabin website and at Radio MonteCarlo.net. Other guest singers on the album include international artists Gary Go, Flora Purim, Z-Star, Nadeah Miranda of Nouvelle Vague and Barbara Casini.
The album is available via iTunes in Italy and other retail outlets.

As Hope And Promise Fade (Live at Hotel Cafe)
Tonight Chris Cornell plays a much-anticipated solo acoustic set at LA's historic Troubadour Club, which has showcased legendary performances by everyone from Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell to Radiohead and Rise Against.
Meanwhile, here's a taste of the very first show in Cornell's acoustic 'Songbook' series at the city's Hotel Cafe back in December - the first such US show since before the days of Soundgarden. Chris explains why dazzling blues 'Two Drink Minimum' is getting a name change before launching into a stripped-down solo performance which brings out every nuance of Scream's 'secret' track.

Chris would like you to know that his friend Rory de la Rosa passed away recently after a long illness. He will be very much missed by all who knew him. Rory wrote the lyrics of Chris's song "I Promise It's Not Goodbye" which is is currently streaming on this site.
