Don't forget - Chris Cornell will be the musical guest on The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien tonight on NBC, 10.35/11.35c. Expect something a bit special! Viewers in Europe can see the show on Mon 14 September on CNBC (Sky channel 505) at 11p UK time/midnight CET.

Chris Cornell on the Tonight Show
I waited all week to see Chris perform on Conan. I didn't know what to expect, or what he was going to play. The first word that comes to mind is WOW! I was totally blown away. Hearing Chris sing 'imagine' was the last thing I expected, and it hit me like the hammer of the Gods! This was about as good as late night T.V. gets. I don't usually watch the late nite babble, but his performance was more than worth the wait! A beautiful voice, matched with a beautiful song, and a very nice choice for Sept 11th. Thank you Chris Cornell for sharing your amazing gift with the world. No one can belt out a tune like you do. Your pipes are the best in rock music today, and there are only a handfull of singers in my opinion who could go toe, to toe with you!!!! Rock on!

I just learned about Chris Cornell tonight on Conan. I absolutely loved the performance. I'd love to download that exact, live version for my ipod. He was amazing. I'm definitely a fan and going to check out more of Chris' work.
