Chris Cornell Announces European Acoustic Higher Truth Tour
Chris is bringing his acoustic #HigherTruth tour to Europe in 2016.
Following the huge success of his recent US tour, Chris Cornell will bring his critically acclaimed 'Higher Truth' tour to Europe, starting on 23rd March in Reykjavik, Iceland, before crossing the continent.
The tour will give European fans the chance to see Chris perform in an unplugged, up close and personal setting in venues which have been hand-picked to host the show, including tracks from his new album Higher Truth which was described by Metro as “heartbreakingly effective”, with Kerrang! magazine proclaiming it as “one of the best records Chris has made in the last 15 years.”
Produced by Brendan O’Brien (Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam, Neil Young), 'Higher Truth' showcases Cornell's constant evolution as a master songwriter, lyricist and musical craftsman – telling human stories which transcend musical genres. Inspired by the stark arrangements of musicians like Nick Drake, Daniel Johnston and White Album-era Beatles, Cornell creates a musical universe unlike anything he has done before.
Watch Chris on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon 11:35/10:35c on NBC tonight (9/17)- see local listings for details.

Euphoria Mourning To Be Remastered On Vinyl, CD & Digital Under Original Title
When Chris Cornell was about to release his 1999 solo debut, he was dissuaded from his first choice for the title, Euphoria Mourning. Now, 16 years later, Universal Music Enterprises is re-releasing the remastered album under its original name on August 14, for the first time on vinyl as well as reissuing digitally and on CD. Euphoria Mourning will be pressed on 180 gram vinyl and include a download card featuring 320 kbps MP4 audio ripped directly from the vinyl.
“The title of the record has been restored to its original spelling,” notes Chris. “Which was changed before release after I listened to some bad advice.”
